For over a century, since its establishment in 1919, Tajima has expanded its business domain. We are a pioneering manufacturer of asphalt roofing and vinyl floor tiles in Japan. With our reliable technology, high quality and excellent design, we have created new value and grown with society.

Vinyl flooring utilizes recycled materials such as used agricultural vinyl films and in-factory recycled scraps, reducing virgin raw material usage and transforming waste into beautiful flooring.

Recycled Vinyl Usage Reusing agricultural films since 1974. We pioneered collection, sorting, washing, and granulation technologies.

Transparency

Reducing Waste in Sales Tools

Shifting from heavy physical sample books to comprehensive catalog booklets with high-quality photographs. Individual samples available upon request — minimizing waste and environmental load.

Transparency on Past Asbestos Use

Currently, absolutely no asbestos is used in any of our products. Historically, white asbestos (chrysotile) was used in specific tile products before 1988. These are "non-friable" materials with no risk of mass dispersion during normal use. Proper handling is required only during demolition.
